The roots of the company date back to 1976. Sure was acquired by a management-buy-in team in Feb 2001 and underwent a major investment programme including a modern computer system and new regional offices.

As a result of this development, Sure has increased its turnover from £3.4million to £20million in only five years and now employs over 250 employees. The Group acquired a specialist heating installation business with over 50 years experience F.J.Jones (Heating Engineers)Ltd. Based in the midlands in 2005.

Sure Group

The current contract portfolio includes some 75,000 dwellings across England (predominately North West) incuding clients Golden Gates Housing; Halton Housing Trust; Trafford Housing Trust; Riverside Housing Association; Hinckley and Bosworth etc. Annual contracts range from £250k to £2.5million and duration from 3 to 5 years with options to extend.

Customers will be notified as to the date and time of any work to be undertaken, this will be with the agreement of all parties and will be carried out with the minimum of disruption:

  • All representatives of Sure will explain the reason and nature of the work to be undertaken and any possible disruption.
  • Noise will be kept to a minimum at all times.
  • Equipment and tools used on site will be stored safely and tidily to minimise the risk of injury to customers, employees, and the public.
  • Working areas will be identified and isolated where necessary.
  • Customers and other members of the public will be requested to vacate the work area if there is a risk to health. Failure to do so will result in suspension of works.
