Sure Group Supports Halton Housing Trust‘s ‘Affordable Warmth Campaign’

During October and November 2011, Halton Housing Trust held their 3rd ‘Affordable Warmth Campaign’ in the Runcorn and Widnes areas.
The initiative, led by Debbie Jameson, Customer Involvement Officer, Halton Housing Trust, and offered customers the benefit of a home visit to try and assist them to identify the cheapest energy companies in the UK.
Commenting on the initiative, Debbie said “There are a proportion of Trust customers who are in fuel poverty, so we want to support these vulnerable people by exploring ways for them to become more energy efficient. During October and November, Trust staff carried out pre-arranged visits to those customers who felt that they will benefit from an energy efficient discussion. Sure Group staff provided raffle prizes of eco kettles as part of the campaign.”
