At Sure Group we have worked closely with our clients to enable the introduction of renewable technologies to the social rented housing sector.
Of key importance has been our ability to review, with our clients,the full range of renewable energy technologies available with the "on site" knowledge gained from our gas maintenance experience in the social housing sector gained over many years. Our practical approach has enabled informed decisions to be made that have resulted in successful application of the technology and the necessary carbon reductions.
Sure Group is Microgeneration Certified (MCS) for the design, supply, installation and commissioning of Solar Thermal Hot Water Systems and therefore can enable clients to access
grant funding for 50% of the costs of the technology. With our operational partners we are able to access funding for all the major technologies and we are expanding our expertise
further with heat pump technology.
Sure Group is accredited for the installation of Vaillant and Worcester Bosch systems. Our engineers are trained by the manufacturers and therefore maximise the warrantee
periods and performance attainment. We have also developed our own "kit" from specialist suppliers, also guaranteed, that allows us to offer a full range of products
from the market place.
Through work undertaken we fully appreciate that to attain higher levels in the "code for Sustainable Homes" (CfSH) it is necessary to use more than one technology. We can advise on compatibility and options for maximising effectiveness and value. Whilst we have installed equipment to "new build" property it is our experience in the retro-fit market that is proving to be of major importance to our clients and the social housing market.
Sure Group is an established mechanical and electrical installation and maintenance service provider and as such can undertake directly the ancillary installations required
when using the lower temperature heat sources. This can include insulation of the building to oversize heat emitters to gain the desired comfort levels and carbon reduction.
