Microgeneration
“We are specialist in the service, maintenance and repair of microgeneration applications for both domestic and commercial customers”
Over recent times we have seen the introduction of mocrogeneration applications which will now continue to increase with desire to reduce the impact of burning fossil fuels on the environment.
With this growing awareness of the effect of CO2 emissions, the requirement to increase energy efficiency (especially in the light of increasing energy costs) and the drive to reduce fuel poverty, many clients have taken the opportunity to invest in microgeneration applications for housing stock and commercial buildings.
However the installation of these new technologies is not the “end of the story”. In order to provide the benefits of these applications it is essential that they are serviced and maintained ensuring optimum performance and longitivity of service. Manufacturers of the new technologies are specific in their requirement for service and maintenance of their products for these reasons and to maintain any applicable warrantees.
The typical applications include the following from many manufacturers:
- Solar Photo Voltaic
- Solar Thermal Hot Water
- Air Source Heat Pumps
- Exhaust Air Heat Recovery
- Ground source Heat Pumps
- Biomass Fuelled Heaters
- Combined heat and Power
Some applications may operate independently, however most will operate alongside traditional heating e.g. solar thermal with a gas boiler, or, a combination of new technologies e.g. solar photo voltaic and air source heat pumps.
Through our experience in the installation and commissioning of these applications and the manufacturer training undertaken we are able to offer a “full maintenance service” of these applications either working independently or along-side the traditional heating maintenance services of gas appliances, oil, solid fuel and electric heating.
Sure Maintenance can provide a tailored service to suit your heating and hot water service, maintenance and repair requirements for all main energy sources from the one specialist organisation.
