Sure Group Engineer Wins West Midlands Regional Training Award for Building Services Engineering 2009.
Martin Butler, a Sure Group Engineer based in the West
Midlands has won an award in the H&V Domestic
Heating Category in the West Midlands Regional Training
Awards 2009.
Martin was nominated for the award by his college tutor
Mr Chris Astbury of Dudley College. Martin will attend a
glittering award ceremony later in the year, where he will
be presented with a voucher, glass trophy and certificate.
Sure Group and Dudley College will also be presented
with a certificate for their support in his training. Martin
is currently working towards Level 3 technical certificate
and NVQ. Martin will now be put forward for the
National Training Awards organised by Summitskills.

Dave Fleetwood is celebrating after successfully completing his engineering apprenticeship.
Dave was working in the Liverpool Sure Group Office and dealing with the engineers on a day-to-day basis. He knew that being an engineer could be the right career move for him, so Dave approached his manager and asked for the chance to become an engineer.
So in September 2007, Dave took the first steps on his new career ladder and set off to Liverpool
Community College, Vauxhall Road, where he had enrolled on NVQ Level 2 6012-02 in Domestic Natural
Gas Installation and Maintenance. After 2 years of hard work and commitment, Dave completed his apprenticeship on 9th September 09. He is now working as fully fledged engineer on the Riverside Housing Contract (formerly Riverside Liverpool). He has never looked back!
Sure Group has a history of working
for Riverside Housing over many
years undertaking gas maintenance,
repairs and installation works in the
Merseyside area to their tenanted
housing stock.
